Just exactly how does this work??
It's just now 3 AM and I have spent about 6 hours in an Emergency Room, with my Mom, waiting for a room. She's probably fine...that's of course not a definite yet, but puh-leeze! She was bad enough to arrive by ambulance, but not bad enough to allow her to wait 6 hours for a room? Just exactly how does this work??
Anyway...I'll get back when I can...6 hours...I just don't get it.

Cassie, hopefully your Mom is in a room by now, do they any clue what happened? I hope she's giving them hell for the wait!!! Or is she a honey instead of vinegar type of gal?
hugs

Unfortunately I know that scenario well. Last week we waited for 8 hours for a room after my FIL arrived by ambulance. Must be the "sytem". Hope you Mom is OK. ( My FIL is OK, for now).

Best wishes to your mom for a speedy recovery.
This reminds me of a scheduled surgery I had a few years ago. I spent 4 hours in recovery cooling my jets while waiting for a room to open up. One of my mistakes was scheduling the surgery during snowbird season. The hospitals are always more busy then.
Oh my! So sad that you had to wait so long for a room for your Mom. So many hospitals are short staffed these days :-(
Hope all will be well with your Mom.
Hugs, Pat

Oh geez...hope your Mom is doing better! Emergency Rooms are always crazy, but six hours...ugh...
Hey I got my quilt! Love it-it's so cute!! After your medical stuff dies down, go see if you can find it in my blog( not too hard)....
Positive medical thoughts headed your way.....

Hope your mom is fine (and in a room in her own home instead of that hospital!). I was so aggravated with my Dad's recent hospital stay that I truly thought I might commit a crime before it was over with. :)
Let us know how she is!!

Oh Cassie! I hope your Mom is okay now...and in her own room! I know this story all too well after Mom's ER visit in November. I am thinking about you and sending warm hugs.
Love,
Sue
Sending well wishes for your sweet Mom.
