I saw it yesterday...the little byline saying "according to sources"...and I really didn't want it to be true. But, it's been confirmed. Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
I haven't been around this type of cancer before, but I always think of Michael Landon when I hear those words. So quick.

I'm shocked. I hadn't heard this yet. I'm saddened to know that someone is suffering from this horrible form of cancer. He's only 55, too. Way too young to have to fight for your life, don't you think? Sad, sad news.

It saddened me to see his face looking so frail...and immediately remembered Michael Landon and the beautiful Donna Reed...they all gave so much entertainment to us, that's why we care.

It IS so sad. I just heard this yesterday. Hopefully he will be one of the lucky ones who can fight this and fight it well.
