How Cute Is This?

I've spent the last 3 days out in my garage getting ready for a Yard Sale. Sorting, choosing, taking it out and putting it back...I just want to keep everything!! But...it's time to clean out because we still have a room full of boxes from the passing of The Hub's Father and Aunt...so I've got to get it out of my way!!

Anyway...while moving stuff around I came across this sweet little thing and I just had to stop and really look at it. Using a high beam light and a magnifying glass, I'm pretty sure that this is an original drawing. I used a French to English translator online and the title is "Business Is Business". I've also tried to figure out the artist's signature, but no luck with that. It's in a simple wooden frame, gold in color. There's some stain at the bottom..water? But, it's very slight and not near the artwork .

Look at that red hair! Isn't she precious?

Can anyone figure this out?

This is just the kind of thing I'm talking about. I love this, but choices have to be made, so in the sale box she goes. **sigh** Of course, I have 2 weeks until the sale...

no, I can't keep her...

but she only takes up a small space...

no, if I haven't hung her up yet, I don't need her...

but, I really like her...

**sigh**

Hi Cassie

Hi! Tough to decipher that signature...and I'm wondering if les affaires vont les affaires refers to...potty training?? She's so cute and little, I'm wondering!!

You know, I think she should stay..I pulled my rocking chair back in!!hee-hee!

Hang her up quickly, maybe in the "potty room" and keep her.

I don't know how you can sell her but I'd find out more about it first. You don't want someone to show up with her on Antique Roadshow and find out she's worth a fortune!

Hi there! Have to agree with everyone else! Don't think you should sell....but if you do, let me know when you start the bidding....lol!

I am with Jean - don't sell her - she could be worth something!!! If you do sell it, I love it, too! But I say you find a spot on a wall or shelf in a bathroom and keep her! Maybe even frame her in a more stylish frame with a darling polka dot matte.

PS: You will regret selling her....trust me..been there, done that one!

I am with all of them! Do not sell her or, if you do, sell her to one of us! I would love to have her for my bathroom! She is just too precious! I agree that a sweet mat of polka dots would be wonderful!

Oh, and I was where you are now earlier this month. I cleaned out every closet and drawer and the storage room. I boxed up so much but let it all sit for over a week. IN the end I took out a few things that I decided should be saved for us. The rest went to Goodwill and friends, family and children's charities. Of course, I still have too much! Garage sales would have to wait until warmer weather here so I just went the donation route.

The garage clean will have to wait for warm months and when we get the deck things back outside!

Have a sweet week dear Cassie.

Hugs,
Sue

I think we're all loving this. Save it for a giveaway. And then give it to ME! :) Okay, pretend I didn't say that. We wouldn't want people to know, er...I mean, THINK that your giveaway was rigged, right? lol
