I must say that I think I remember seeing something like this somewhere (how informative of me) so if anyone has made this and thinks I have tried to copy them, please set me straight! All I will say now is thanks for the idea...it's a great one! Here's how we roll....
First, make a copy of some vintage sheet music. I chose "Joy To The World".
Run the copy back through the printer adding the word JOY or whatever fits the occasion. Then trim, tear or burn the edges and attach to the bag with spray adhesive.
I used a couple pieces of my Virginia holly and tied them with vintage baker's twine. You can use a ribbon, but I just like this simple look.
Wrapping the twine around the branches a few times, I added one of my thrifting finds, an old mercury ball ornament.
What are we getting the bag ready for? Absolutely THE BEST candle...ever. Outsmells (is that a word?) Yankee, McCall's, Cheerful Giver, Root...it is the best, long lasting candle and the scents are incredible. This one is Hot Maple Toddy...

Oh how pretty!!! You're quite creative Cassie. My hair cut and color day is Saturday so I'd better get moving with something for my Stacey.
Cassie,
What a clever girl you are; the bag looks amazing. I hadn't really thought about my hairstylist, probably because I am not going until after the holiday. Maybe I will just copy you LOL.
Janet
Gorgeous!!
YOU are SO creative!!!
Hugs,
Sue
Oh I'm lovin' that. It turned out great!
Hey - can you tell me again about your hair? I'm wanting to take DETAILED instructions to my hairdresser. I figure if I go there with a plan, maybe she won't try so hard to talk me into going back to all-over color. I'm DETERMINED to just go gray! Anyways, did you say you had had the color stripped from your hair and then had it frosted? I know I saved the e-mail...but I've got over 1,000 e-mails in my inbox (yeah, I'm THAT bad when it comes to clearing it out!)so I figure it might take me about a year and a half to find it again.
Thank you! (I'm thanking you in advance in the hopes it will inspire you to help me out here. lol)
Merry Christmas!
Kari
