...in just a few days! I've got a few days of real fun planned and it all starts today!!! One of my dear friends is coming into town for a vist and we have 4 days of real GIRL TIME planned. You have probably figured out that we are spending some time at Disney World!! YAY!!!
This is the very best time of year to visit, before all of the big holiday stuff gets started.
I have got to be one of the biggest Disney fans ever and living in Orlando makes it easy for my dreams to come true! The Hub is such a sweetie, and knows how I love it, so part of my Christmas every year is a full, 365 days, no blackouts pass to Walt Disney World! We are only about 20 minutes from the MAIN GATE so it's not unusual for the daughter and I to hop over and have lunch, spend an hour and then head home. How very lucky are we???
My friend hasn't been in ages so we have lots to cover in just a couple of days and we are staying right out there so we can get into the parks right at 9AM when they open! We gotta stay to see the fireworks....
and my fave, The Haunted Mansion...
And Spaceship Earth in Epcot...
and The Disney Hollywood Studios (the new official name change effective January '08)
and the newest park, The Animal Kingdom...
One of the best parts is being able to ride this....(that's the Polynesian Hotel in the back)
and of course to say Hello to....
The weather is supposed to be beautiful...sunny and about 73 degrees...so, we will eat too much popcorn and white chocolate covered pretzels, drink too much Diet Coke (hey, we have to balance it out somewhere)and wear our Mickey Mouse ears just to give the kids a laugh.
We won't have any internet access while we are out there, so no news for a few days. That is unless The Hub decides he has something earth shattering to share with you. You just never know... ;)

Oh goodness, I must have lost my invitation and missed the plane, too...was looking for my invite...but you girls have fun without me, I'll be thinking of you and don't forget to go to Epcot!
I sooooo want to go back! And my kids want to go badly, too! Guess it means we better get to work on some tickets! My first visit to Disney was when it was just the Magic Kingdom. My next trip there Epcot had been added. My third trip there the movie studio had been added... and I haven't been back since. tsk tsk! lol Hope you have a blast!

I love Epcot but it's been 3 years since I went to Animal Kingdom.
Have lots of fun...the weather here has been perfect!
