We are long time Wizard Of Oz fans around here...this was the invitation to our last Halloween Bash...
And this Flying Monkey was carved as a gift for me a long time ago! It's a music box and it plays "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead" and the wings move up and down. He's even carrying Toto!

Okay, you know I had to watch the trailer...I'm a big fan of Mr. Baum's...not just the Wizard of Oz, either...I can't wait for my little French girl to arrive...I've got just the perfect place for her after I have her "framed"...

Oh how I love it! You know, I just watched it again on Thursday evening. My nephew is 5 and I think I you may know he is autistic. He loves movies but it is usually Thomas the Train or a Disney one like Cars. Well, he has discovered WoO and LOVES it! He gets so excited at certain scenes and just sat in my lap and clapped and grinned. I reminded his Daddy that HE was afraid of those monkeys but not Boo! : )
LOVE the carved music box. That is priceless!
